Conclusions are often a difficult part to write, because many writers feel they have nothing left to say after having written the paper. Keep in mind the conclusion is often what readers remember best. A conclusion should be the best part of your paper. It not only summarizes your main point(s), but it also gets the reader to think about the greater implications associated with inaction on behalf of society in general. In other words, what other problems could arise should society choose not to deal with it. You are not only charged with proving your point, but also with persuading others to take action or look even further into the issue.Elements of a good conclusion include restating your thesis, summarizing your main points, presenting the "big picture", and finally, ending with an effective/persuasive "wrap it up" sentence. The result is to stress the importance of the thesis statement, give the essay a sense of completeness, and leave a final impression on the reader.
